… So Many Gluten-Free Snacks Samples at Your Doorstep!
Know what I just received? Yep, you guessed it (of course the picture helped I’m suspecting) … my gluten-free Love With Food box! Have you heard of them? I hadn’t! But now that I have, I’m so excited to share with you what Love With Food is all about and I’m grateful to them for sponsoring this post. Love With Food is a monthly subscription program. Each month a new box containing 10-15 different gluten-free snack items is delivered right to your door! These snacks are always free of high fructose corn syrup, trans fats, and hydrogenated oils. They also contain no artificial coloring, flavoring, or MSG. I love that! Love With Food works hard to find items to send that are new to, or lesser known in, the marketplace. Sometimes a product might already be a familiar one. I love both scenarios. The first provides an opportunity to try a new snack without having to research it’s safety, find where it’s sold, and pay for a whole box or bag before knowing if it’s a product that fits your gluten-free lifestyle … or your taste buds. Personally, I hate buying an unfamiliar product just to find that it really doesn’t fit my needs/likes, and ending up with more on hand than I want or will use. And you and I both know that most gluten-free products aren’t typically “budget” priced. The second allows already known and loved treats to be enjoyed. Love With Food = no waste.
Each month brings a new box “theme”. I received the Touchdown Treats box with a football theme; easy snacks for munching while watching a favorite college or pro game. Some of the tasty items include Cheddar and Pepper Premium Puffed Corn by Cosmos Creations, Home Cooked Salted Virginia Peanuts by Hubs, Buffalo Style Real Chicken Jerky by Chef’s Cut, and Sea Salt Sweet Corn Tortilla Chips by Off the Cob. (I can’t wait to see what’s coming in the holiday box!)
Want to easily know what’s in each item without having to read the labels? A “product list” pamphlet is provided. This guide includes a description of each item with ingredients and labeling of “gluten-free”, “non-GMO”, and “vegan”, as applicable.
All items in the gluten-free box are gluten-free, as expected. I was glad to see a few gluten-free and vegan products in this month’s box. For multiple food allergy/intolerance considerations (like my need to stay away from dairy and peanuts), it is important to review the pamphlet and ingredients lists. I will be sharing the items not on my “safe” list with friends and family members who are solely gluten-free. Knowing how challenging living a gluten-free, dairy-free (and for many of us dealing with multiple food allergies/intolerances) lifestyle, I was especially touched when I learned that Love With Food donates two (2) meals to a food bank in the United States for every box purchased. That means a hungry child gets to be a little less hungry each time we try something new. I like that. I really like that!
Right now Love With Food is offering 50% off the first gluten-free box you order by using this link to order. That’s a HUGE discount of $12.50 in savings!
For November, a Black Friday Sale is also coming up where there will be HUGE discounts across different plans for longer-term subscriptions. (I know you love scoring those crazy good online Black Friday sales, right?!)
It’s also nice to know that subscriptions can be established as month-to-month/3-month/6-month/and annual plans, with free shipping! And if you want to try Love With Food then decide to cancel, you may do so risk-free at any time.
I must admit that I’m not one to typically sign up for subscriptions (except foodie magazines, of course), but I like the concept of taste testing new products in “sample size” portions that I can share with you. I can’t wait to see what’s in next month’s box. It’s a little like getting a Christmas present every month.
When you subscribe, you’ll be able to do your own taste testing without having to wait for me to share … though I love it when you come to Daily Forage looking for new info. I’d love to hear from any of you who’ve tried, or are currently members of, Love With Food. Let all of us know your thoughts! We can swap notes!
P.S. Love the Love With Food concept but don’t necessarily need the snacks to be gluten-free? They have boxes with products that are still all-natural, non-GMO, and free of artificial ingredients – just not specialized for the gluten-free lifestyle. Be sure to check those out. Why not sign up for a subscription for a friend or family member?!
Thanks to Love With Food for sponsoring this post. The words, images, and opinions shared here are all my own. Each time an order is placed through the link provided above, the cost remains the same for you, while I receive a small portion to help support this blog. Thank you for your support.
