GFAF Expo Chicago 2013 Sweepstakes Terms & Conditions

GENERAL: By entering this Giveaway, each Participant agrees to these official Terms & Conditions (T&C) between the Participant and Daily Forage, LLC., here and after referred to as “Sponsor”, and to be bound by these T&C and the decisions of Sponsor. All decisions of Sponsor are final.

LIMIT OF ENTRY: Limit one entry per person for the entire Entry Period. By entering, Participant acknowledges compliance with these T&C, including all eligibility requirements.

Sponsor is not responsible for failures in technology, such as but not limited to technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone or other network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any Web site or online service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, or misdirected entries. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. Proof of emailing does not constitute proof of delivery or receipt.

HOW TO ENTER: Fill out Sweepstakes Entry Slip during the GFAF Expo – Chicago, 2013. Your entry slip constitutes an entry. No purchase necessary. 

ENTRY PERIOD: The Entry Period begins on 4/20/2013 at 9:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT) and ends on 4/21/2013 at 4:00 p.m. CDT.

ELIGIBILITY AND LIMITATIONS: VOID OUTSIDE OF THE ELIGIBILITY AREA AND WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Giveaway Participants must be at least 18 years old as of 4/20/2013. Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the 48 contiguous continental United States, where allowed. Participants must have a shipping address capable of receiving packages. NO P.O. BOXES ALLOWED. The following persons are not eligible to enter the Giveaway: (a) employees and officers of any organizations directly involved with this promotion, including any co-sponsor of the Giveaway; (b) employees of Daily Forage, LLC, its affiliates and subsidiaries; and (c) immediate family members and persons living in the same household as the persons identified in (a) and (b) above. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry if it concludes that the Participant has tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or has acted in violation of these Official Rules or any applicable state, federal, or local laws or regulations.

ODDS: The odds of qualifying to win this Giveaway depend on the number of people who participate in the Giveaway, approximately 1 in 1000.

WINNER SELECTION: The prize winner will be selected in a random drawing on 4/22/2013 at 4:00 p.m. CDT from all eligible entries received by the official close of the Entry Period. 

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winner will be notified by e-mail within one (1) business day from the official close of the Entry Period. Once the winner has been given notification of his/her prize by email, winner will have forty-eight, (48) hours to claim their prize and notify Sponsor of their legal name and address in a return email and/or phone call. Failure to claim the prize within forty-eight, (48) hours of notification constitutes forfeiture of the prize. In the event of forfeiture, an alternate Prize Winner may be selected.

WINNER ACCEPTANCE: Winner may waive his/her right to receive a prize. If the winner declines the prize, an alternate winner will be selected. In the event of non-compliance to these T&C, an alternate Prize Winner may be selected. Prizes are non-assignable, non-transferable for cash or other prizes. The Prize will be mailed out to the winner’s legal address. No prize substitutions allowed.

DELIVERY DISCLAIMER: Sponsor disclaims any and all liability for any delays, miss delivery, loss, damage, or failure in the delivery of any item(s) sent by mail, email, courier, express, electronic transmission, or other delivery method.

LIMITATIONS AND LIABILITIES: By entering this Giveaway, the Participant agrees to release Sponsor from any and all liability of damages and/or losses, direct or indirect, and not excluding any not mentioned here. Any and all claims and/or causes of action arising from or connected to this Giveaway, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually and without any form of class action. The Giveaway, all prizes, and all materials provided on or through this site are provided “AS IS” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including without limitation to the implied warranties of merchantability, health, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Participants agree that the Sponsor, or co-sponsors shall be liable for any injury or damage to any person’s computer hardware, software, or peripherals used in participating in the Giveaway. Neither party is responsible for technical, hardware, software, or other communication failures of any kind, whether caused by either party, users, or by any equipment, programming, or other cause, whether or not such failures limit Participant’s ability to participate in the Giveaway. If for any reason (including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Giveaway), the Giveaway is not capable of being conducted as described in these T&C, Sponsor shall have the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Giveaway. 

RELEASE: By participating, each Participant and winner waives any and all claims of liability against Sponsor its employees and agents, for any personal injury or loss of any kind, which may occur from the conduct of, or participation in, the Giveaway, or from the use of any prize awarded.

SEVERIBILITY: If any portion of these T&C are found to be invalid or unenforceable, the balance of these T&C will proceed and remain in force as if the invalid or unenforceable clause had not been included.

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Participant or winner and may refuse to award any prize to a person who is ineligible or who it finds has tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway, or who has acted in violation of these T&C or any applicable state, federal, or local laws or regulations, or is acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other Participants or Sponsor. All decisions will be made by Sponsor and are final and binding. Sponsor may waive any of these rules per its sole discretion.

All contests, sweepstakes, and giveaways held on Daily Forage – gluten free are sponsored by Daily Forage, LLC., 5865 Neal Avenue North, #258, Stillwater, MN 55082. Daily Forage, LLC. is not responsible for printing, typographical, or other errors occurring in these T&C or in any other contest, sweepstakes, or giveaway materials.
