Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE) is a non-profit organization raises money for research and eduction for food allergy awareness and in search of a cure. 15 million Americans have food allergies, including 1 in 13 children.

I attended the 2012 Nourished Food Bloggers Conference and the Gluten & Allergen Free (GFAF) Expo in Lombard, IL (in the suburbs of Chicago). There were over 100 attendees at the conference, and the expo, open to the public, gathered a great crowd. There were gluten-free, and allergen-free, food vendors sampling their products, and selling merchandise.
