… The Flavors of Mexico!

Will you be celebrating Cinco de Mayo, the Fifth of May, this weekend? Cinco de Mayo notes the victory of the Mexican Army over France in the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War in 1862. Though this victory is not largely celebrated in Mexico, many areas of the United States with large Mexican-American populations acknowledges this date and celebrate their heritage in grand style with parades, feasts, and other various cultural celebrations. Mexican heritage and cuisine has become infused in our American culture to this day.

It just so happens that Mexican food is one of my all-time favorite cuisines. I could enjoy all the flavors and dishes every day of the week, if it were up to me. Over the years, we’ve created some delicious gluten-free, dairy-free Mexican dishes. I thought it would be fun to share them with you, again, this time in one easy quick-reference location. If you’re looking for a perfect entree to help celebrate Cinco de Mayo, this is a tasty place to be.
