Peanut Butter and Almond Butter Recalls

… Necessary and Precautionary!

Just an FYI to let you know that Trader Joe’s has put out a recall of three nut butter products, Creamy Salted Valencia Peanut Butter (sku 97111), Valencia Peanut Butter with Roasted Flaxseeds (sku 98927) and Almond Butter with Roasted Flaxseeds (sku 94079) due to potential contamination of salmonella.

Earth Balance has likewise put out a recall on their Natural Almond Butter and Flaxseed as a precaution, stating, “Although no Earth Balance® Almond Butter has tested positive for salmonella, we are pulling all Almond Butter product from the shelves to prevent the chance of any illness from occurring.”
