Mark’s Pizzeria, with over 40 locations in New York and Florida, debuted their new gluten-free pizza crust on September 3rd, 2011. Mark Crane, President of Mark’s Pizzeria stated it was an easy decision “to Go Gluten-Free” because of the wide-spread awareness of gluten sensitivity and Celiac Disease.
Extensive product testing and official certification, ensuring a certified gluten-free pizza dough could be delivered, preceded the launching of the new pizza crust.
“We’re really excited to be able to offer a Gluten-free Pizza to our customers” said Crane. “For some families affected by Celiac Disease who live in the neighborhoods we operate in, a pizza night was out of the question due to the fact that there are few pizza restaurant or delivery options that offer gluten-free. There’s something special about sitting down with your whole family and eating pizza together and laughing and sharing stories together…the fact that some families couldn’t do that just didn't seem right to me, so we added Gluten-free to our menu as another option for those families. If by adding gluten-free pizza, we make just one family happy…that’s worth it for us.”

Their pizza is the bomb. Great GF crust. I live two blocks from Mark’s, so glad my family can order pizza again, yay!
So glad you’re able to enjoy pizza once again! Wish I was close to a Mark’s, but I think I’d have a hard time getting them to deliver to MN. I’ll be sure to stop in to one of their locations when I’m in town next time. Thanks for sharing your enthusiasm!
I’ll bring all my friend to say “I wanna a big pizza”
Hope you enjoy a big pie!
