There’s a New Label in Town

Gluten Free Seal The leading organic certifier Quality Assurance International (QIA), and National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) have partnered in the creation of a new science-based gluten-free certification program. This program brings forth a new gluten-free label verifying that the product has been tested and inspected to assure less than 10 ppm (parts per million) of gluten are present.

This new labeling certification process was established due to the upsurge of the gluten-free market. The QAI and NFCA new “Certified Gluten-Free” consumer label was officially unveiled to the grocery industry this past weekend at the KeHE Show in Chicago.
