Congratulations to The No-Bake Cookie Company, the wholesale cookie company located in Bend, Oregon which specializes in natural, gluten free No-Bake cookies. They will be a part of every official Emmy Gift Bag handed out to the guests at the 32nd Annual News and Documentary Emmy Awards on September 26, 2011.
“We are busy putting together 800 gift boxes to be shipped to New York,” states No-Bake. Items to be included in the gift bags are chosen by Off The Wall Gifts, who pick “undiscovered, emerging brands.”
From this publishers perspective, The No-Bake Cookie Company will be “discovered” very soon.

Note the cookie displayed does not have wheat or gluten in it, but it does have oats. Oats are closely related to wheat and in most people with celiac disease the protein in oats is so similar to the protein (gluten) in wheat that oats causes a rise in the same antibodies as wheat causes. Since those antibodies are auto-immune antibodies, even a small amount increases inflammation and the probability of auto-immune disease.
